I honestly have no idea...
We know that there’s a lot that goes on in an office like ours that isn’t really productive. We don’t have any official target for wrench time. If you ask me, by the time you come in, have a coffee, chat with your coworkers, catch up on memos, have a cigarette, flirt with the girls down in the typing pool, wind down to go for lunch, gear back up after lunch, zone out in the mid afternoon, then ramp down for the day… I figure if you get an hour a day of actual work done then we’re doing pretty good.
